  1. This app is no longer called PadNotes. It is now called TakeNotes. Someone else took the padnote name and the app is awful.

  6. it's terrible. how are u supposed to take accurate notes on this. Face it. u cant type or write with just your fingertips. you need some sort of stylus. It's a shame that the courier project was abandoned...

  18. To the devs: Great job on the app! The concept is exactly what the iPad needs to make it truly awesome, but (sorry there is always a but) smartNote looks to also be very well designed. I will try both on launch day :)

  19. @artwel123 this video is demonstrated using a mouse in the iPad environment, so it's not actually using a finger. and I personally don't want to use a stylus, i've used them before with things and never liked them.

  21. oh dear this looks pretty shit,, look at the dodgy response on the handwriting, what a crock of shite!, atleast the courier gives you the choice to use a stylus, and to draw and make notes you need what?... yes, a 'stylus'..

  22. If you wanted to draw accurate lines you could use a stylus and a ruler

The pogo sketch is not as accurate as a pen on paper. I draw with one on the iPod a lot. It works great as a paint brush, and can still draw fine lines, just not as accurately. You will simply just zoom in slightly. The Courier will be better for journaling and writing notes with it's pen input (if it exists). But will be much worse at so many other important things such as apps, games, browsing, video, photos, etc, etc. etc. Most people are going to want work and play all in one device. I do
